Linez Coding Competition

WRM Taken Down

Weekly Rated Match of the Linez game is discontinued because of some design flaws. An improved scoring system will be implemented later.

The Broadcast Game

Broadcast is a puzzle game where the objective is to connect terminals to a central hub by fixing the orientation of cables on the grid. This Ajax game only requires a modern web browser with Javascript support.

Linez Rating System to be Revised

The rating system of Linez will be revised in order to discourage players from forfeiting too many games. The following rule will take effect from the next event (Weekly Rated Match 7):

• If a player whose rating is greater than or equal to 215 points has opened at least one game but failed to submit 3 or more scores by the end of a rated match, his/her rating will decrease by 7%.

Personal scores and rating history are now visualized.

Rating History

A table of personal rating history is now displayed on member's public profile page. I did try to colorize the table, but it then looked like an oddly stitched, painfully ugly patchwork quilt. Switching back to the colorless rating table has made me sleep better.
To relieve your pain of reading a matrix of numbers, I'll create a neat rating graph soon.
